They are used by many international organisations and US Federal agencies, including the United Nations.<\/p>\n<p>We have internationally Approved Instructors to teach the following programs:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Individual Crisis Intervention<\/li>\n<li>Group Crisis Intervention<\/li>\n<li>Pastoral Crisis Intervention<\/li>\n<li>Grief Following Trauma<\/li>\n<li>Suicide Awareness<\/li>\n<li>Workplace Violence<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Details of their content can be found at the <a href=\"http:\/\/icisf.org\/education-a-training\/course-descriptions\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ICISF<\/a> site.<\/p>\n<p>We are also able to customise training in the fields of crisis intervention and chaplaincy, to suit the requirements of a particular organisation.<\/p>\n<p>** NEW COURSE **<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Spiritual Psychological First Aid.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Providing effective emotional and spiritual care to individuals, families, and communities, &nbsp;following critical incidents and in times of crisis, requires special training, skills and understanding of the unique role of the crisis responder.<\/p>\n<p>This course seeks to prepare helpers to meet the emotional and spiritual needs of \u2018survivors\u2019 by providing a basic understanding of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the ministry of presence<\/li>\n<li>connecting<\/li>\n<li>basic assessment skills<\/li>\n<li>appropriate intervention<\/li>\n<li>developing an ongoing care plan and referral<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Our crisis intervention programs are just some of a large number developed through the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation.
